Special equipment is considered to be any specialized Hospital equipment, such as blood/chemistry analyzers, ultrasound machines, radiology machines, and Cubex cabinets. Each device or piece of equipment should have at least one technician from the clinical service or area owning the device that can be used as a point of contact for help. If the responsible technician is unknown, contact the service or area supervisor for assistance.

Vendor Support


Some issues or problems will require technical support from the equipment vendor. For each device or piece of equipment, the owning clinical service or area should know who is the vendor and have contact information for the vendor support. If necessary, contact the service/area supervisor for assistance with vendor information.

Hospital IT Support


For issues related to the integration of special equipment with other Hospital systems, including VMIS or PACS (eFilm), or for assistance with basic troubleshooting of connectivity or configuration issues, please contact:
