Select the menu option from the top of the main VMIS window labeled Client services.

From the drop down, select the admissions option.

The animal preadmissions screen will appear. Select the referrals tab.

All of the current referrals will appear under this tab.

Double click the desired referral to convert it to a pending admission. The admission screen will appear containing the information from the referral. To have the referral entered as a pending admission, hit the save button.

The record will be moved from the referrals tab to the pending tab in the admissions list. Note: If you close the Admissions form without hitting save, the record will not be converted to a pending admission and will remain in the Referrals tab.
