| Each person who has been approved to access VMIS will be given their own password-protected User Account with a unique logon ID (username). Each person is responsible for their own user account and passwords should be treated as confidental information (not to be shared). User Accounts will remain in place until the person is no longer employed by the CVM or until they no longer have a need to access VMIS. If an account is not used for a period of 6 months, it will be automatically disabled. | ||

| ===User Rights=== | ||
| ----------------- | ||
| |||
| Access to different sections of VMIS as well as capabilities within VMIS are controlled through rights. Employee supervisors work with the VMTH Human Resources office to determine the appropriate level of access, or the appropriate rights, for each role or job. As an employee changes jobs or their job responsibilities change, their supervisor will work with the Human Resources office to determine what changes with rights or access should be made, if any. |
