At this point, you should have the patient number with which to access the correct patient. If not, please see: [[userdocs:how-to:ch1:patient_find|How To: Find a Patient]]
Select the Client Services menu option from the top of the main VMIS screen.

Select the admissions drop down option.

The Pre admissions screen will appear. Select the desired patient and double clicking the account.

The patient account screen will appear with the summary automatically pulled up.

About halfway down the screen, the primary rDVM will be listed. On the right side of the rDVM information, there is a small button that says [show], click that button. This will allow you to search for and select the correct rDVM. If you need to add a NEW veterinarian, see the section on HOW TO: Add a New Veterinarian.
